Scope and duration of the warranty

NodeByNode Systems Design UG (haftungsbeschränkt) provides a two (2) year warranty for the VitoNode product, starting from the date of original purchase by the end customer. The warranty applies worldwide, unless restricted by national regulations.

Scope of warranty coverage

The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects in the VitoNode device that occur under normal use. Depending on the situation, the manufacturer will offer one of the following warranty services:

• Repair of the defective device
• Replacement with an equivalent device
• Refund of the purchase price

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by improper use, incorrect installation, or external influences (e.g. water, fire, overvoltage, dropping)
• Damage due to unauthorized repairs or modifications
• Damage caused by force majeure (natural disasters or extraordinary events)
• Normal wear and tear, consumables, or parts subject to aging

How to make a warranty claim

In the event of a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

• Contact our support team at contact@vitonode.com, including the device serial number, a description of the issue, and proof of purchase.
• After reviewing your request, you may receive a return label and written confirmation that the device should be sent in.
• The device must not be returned without prior feedback and approval from the VitoNode team. Only after explicit confirmation should it be securely packaged and sent to the specified return address using the provided return label.

Processing time

Once the device has been received, processing usually takes 10 to 20 business days. You will be informed about the status of your request.

This warranty does not limit your statutory rights under applicable national consumer protection laws.
